Who we are
Aerospace Wiring Group (AWG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing advanced aviation maintenance, engineering, and consulting services to federal agencies, prime contractors, and commercial aerospace organizations.

Founded by William H. Goolsby, III, a retired United States Air Force maintainer with more than 27 years of hands-on experience, AWG was built on a simple principle: deliver mission-ready solutions grounded in real-world aviation expertise. Throughout his career, Goolsby has supported a wide range of aircraft platforms including A-10, F-15, F-16, B-52, C-17, C-5, and C-130, developing a deep understanding of both operational demands and technical complexity.

Today, AWG applies that experience to help organizations solve complex aviation challenges with clarity, precision, and accountability. The company’s approach combines performance-based processes, goal-driven strategy, and data-informed decision-making to ensure every solution aligns with mission objectives and regulatory requirements.

AWG was founded by William H. Goolsby, III — a retired United States Air Force maintainer with over 27 years of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of military aviation — because he wants to continue giving back to the military community by leveraging his expertise in aviation to support the organization he grew up in.
27+ years of USAF aviation maintenance experience across A-10, F-15, F-16, B-52, C-17, C-5, and C-130 platforms
Certified IPC Trainer: J-Standard, 600, 610, 7711/7721 — one of only a small number of certified trainers in the region
Holds an active Secret Security Clearance
Depot-level and Aircraft Battle Damage Repair (ABDR) craftsman and Senior Assessor
Actively fosters long-term client relationships using feedback to continuously refine strategies
